There are lots of things that can be said about muslim violence, and eventually I'll say them all, but today I have just one question about all this crap.
What the fuck are we still doing in Iraq?
Yeah, yeah, I know all about the timetable for withdrawal, or whatever it's called. That's a specious date and a silly way to look at "coming home," since we will have a military presence in that third world shithole for decades to come.
Why can't we just pack up everyone, and come the fuck home?
I'm tired of our people dying over there and the huge amounts of money that we are having to pay to GET them killed. If we have to get people killed, we can do it lots cheaper in South LA or Watts, to name just a couple of areas. There are others. These poor military folks don't need to get butchered away from home...bah!
Personally, I don't care why we went over there any more, if I ever did...and, you know what? You may wanna sit down for this one...I don't give a rat's ass what the hell happens to Iraq and Iraqis. It's none of my fucking business, to begin with. And the counter to the argument, ...all this is OUR fault...can be summed up in three words...
Oh, yeah? Tough.
Or the more formal...
Oh, yeah? Tough shit, asshole.
Look, we never should have gone into Iraq in the first place, especially not with Iran sitting right next door. That place has been begging to have it's ass kicked for decades, now...but that's spilled milk, as it's said. Jesus, why do we never learn?
I also don't know if the country of Iraq and the Iraqi people are better off now than they were under Sadam, but then I don't give a shit, either. I can tell you that over HERE, in THIS country, where I live and where my daughter and friends live...over HERE this war has hurt and continues to hurt US.
So if the Iraqis, or anyone else, can't take a joke, fuck 'em.
Besides all that, whether we are in Iraq another week or another century, when we pull out those barbarous assholes will eat each other alive. There's no democracy coming to this flock of tribal throw-backs, or if there is, it ain't gonna be for a long time. When we leave, the fucking place is going to implode and explode, all at the same time, physics be damned.
It's just time to wave goodbye to all our peaceful and loving brothers and sisters...and come home.
